Switching the Site to Posterous

You may notice that things are looking different today. For months I've been toying around with the idea of using Posterous as the host for my site. Posterous is a hybrid of sorts – a blog, sure, but also a hybrid service that works as an aggregator and distributor of all of your online activity (or as much as you decide).

Why did I take the plunge? Well, I've found that I enjoy filtering, sharing, and commenting information from my different sources. I've been doing much of that in Google Reader and Twitter. However, I like the notion that all of that can occur in one place, along with my longer posts. Perhaps the most famous proponent of that is Steve Rubel, who helped advance this notion of "Lifestreaming."

Let me know how it works for you.
